 I got the same problem: the package p5-mime-lite installs without any hint
 of a problem, but MIME::Lite can not be used because of missing module
 Email::Date::Format

 The module is on CPAN http://search.cpan.org/~RJBS/Email-Date-
 Format-1.002/

 After a manual installation of this module MIME::Lite works fine.

 As suggested by areilly, it is just a missing package for Email-Date-
 Format together with a dependency for p5-mime-lite. There is a package p5
 -email-date, but this it something else: it does not install
 Email::Date::Format
