 Installing some ports (such as 'gimp2') result in installing many, many
 dependencies.

 Some of these have special steps that you need to take. These are
 displayed on the screen, and scroll way up, and can be lost. Nothing calls
 attention to them at the end, and they are not stored anywhere in the
 MacPorts system for later review.
