 Huh? This is something that autoconf gets right, unlike the SIZEOF_FOO
 stuff. If you have ac_cv_c_bigendian=universal, you get something like
 this in config.h:

 #if defined __BIG_ENDIAN__
 # define WORDS_BIGENDIAN 1
 #endif
 }}}
 How is that "flawed"?
