 I applied the backend patch in revision 5 to the port.  That was actually
 a gentoo patch I see.  If 10.6 uses a 64-bit version of apache then I
 think that is the problem since speedycgi doesn't seem to support that.
 You could always install macports apache2 to get around the problem.
