 Hi Ryan,

 yes, you are right, there was a missing check for existence of files
 .ICEauthority and .Xauthority.

 The updated version of the applescript attached to this ticket now also
 checks for wrong permissions of the .qt directory.

 Thanks for reporting. I hadn't noticed this bug, since all these files
 existed in my home dir... :)
