 The previous version of gnuplot worked okay for me in conjunction with
 aquaterm, but the latest version has the following problem. When I try to
 plot a graph – eg via plot sin(x) – gnuplot launches aquaterm but does
 nothing else, and it hangs on the command line.

 I have two systems One is a macbook pro (2 years old), running OS X
 10.6.3. The other is an imac (1 year old) running OS X 10.6.2. In both
 cases I refreshed all my installed ports completely, and in the case of
 the macbook I tried 2 fresh re-installs.
