 Every time that I attempt to install ncursesw, I am unable to due to this
 error:

 Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command " cd
 "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_devel_ncursesw/work/ncurses-5.7-i386"
 && /usr/bin/make -j3 all " returned error 2

 Attached is the debug output of the attempted install.

 I am a total OS 10 n00b and attempted to search for this error but failed.
 So if it has been answered previously, I am sorry.

 Some info: Mac Pro 3,1 in 64bit mode dual quad-core xeons. Clean new
 install about a month ago of 10.6.
