 The configure file was moved several years ago from the unix subdir to the
 root directory of the package due to TEA conformance. I will try to attach
 a patch file for the Ports file.

 The main issue is tclInt.h (the private header file for Tcl).
 i solved it via the variant +headers ala

   https://trac.macports.org/ticket/17189

 and
   sudo port -f install tcl +headers

 but as far i can see, there is no way to add a dependency for a
 variant into a Portfile. It looks to me as if FreeBSD distributes
 tclInt.h by default, since xotcl does not have problems finding
 tclInt.h file there...
