Comment:

 It works fine here and I don't see any information in this report that we
 can act on (no actual specific error message shown). ("shell command
 failed" is what you will see when pretty much any error occurs with any
 port in MacPorts.) Please "sudo port clean cgdb" and try again; if it
 still fails, attach the main.log (compressing it first if it is large).
