  Wireshark 1.4 is mature for general population.[[BR]]
  It's support gtk-osx-application. It authorize Quartz integration, the
 result is nice with snow-leo ;-). [[BR]]
 (Current packages for MacOSX delivered by wireshark.org still relies on
 x11)

  But wireshark ports lack some features to provide good feeling:
 -ChmodBPF
 -bundle in /Applications/MacPorts/

 Yes, 1.2.11 is considered as "old-stable-release"[[BR]]
