 rb-gsl Macport is still broken on Snow Leopard.  As a workaround, follow
 Rok Sribar's installation steps (posted Mar 15, 2008) - notably steps 4
 and 5.

 Step 4) Download rb-gsl from: http://rb-gsl.rubyforge.org/
 and copy rb-gsl-x.xx.x folder to:
 /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/

 Step 5) Install rb-gsl by following instructions at http://rb-
 gsl.rubyforge.org/ or
 # % cd /Library/Ruby/Gems/1.8/gems/rb-gsl-1.10.3/
 # % ruby setup.rb config
 # % ruby setup.rb setup
 # % sudo ruby setup.rb install
 # Password:
