 It seems from reading the continuation of the upstream bug report that
 they are either unable or unwilling at this point in time to integrate
 their leptonlib changes into the official leptonica source and are quite
 keen on having users build their modified version of leptonlib instead. So
 that is what the new webp 0.0.5 port I just attached to this ticket now
 does. It builds for me, but again I'm not sure if it works; can you check?
