 Note that once you get one octave package to install, the rest will then
 install. For instance, octave-ad installs fine. The one can install
 octave-control et al.


 However, each install fails at the activation stage with the following
 cryptic error:

 Thus, the package has actually installed, and the package's functions are
 available in Octave  However, Octave then suffers the same seg fault on
 exit whenever it is run from the command line. This bug appears to have
 been reported separately as ticket #24860.
