 this is probably related to the apparently unresolved ticket #27172 to
 which I refer: with port 1.9.2 the segfault went away, but the
 error/warning message on startup:

 remains. nevertheless gv mostly seems to work right (no segfault anuy
 more) but with the significant exception that the <F>, <B> keybindings for
 one page forward/back do not work. other keybindings
 seem to work fine.

Comment:

 I guess I have to take this ticket, since I'm the maintainer of the gv
 port, but I don't know anything about the gv software or about how to fix
 this problem. Please contact the developer of the gv software for
 assistance. If he says we need to change something in the gv port in
 MacPorts to fix this, let me know.
