 /usr/bin/libtool on Mac OS X is not GNU libtool (the Mac OS X/NeXT libtool
 actually predates GNU libtool).

 Looks like you replaced Mac OS X libtool with GNU libtool, though.

 You'll need to restore the correct Mac OS X libtool from backup or from
 your OS install media.
