 Ah; you're running an old version of 'port', without the sqlite database
 -- the "pre-activate" phase will not be issued automatically.  You can do
 it manually though: do "sudo qt4_select none" and then try activating the
 new qt4-mac.  Assuming that works, do "sudo port clean phonon" and then
 try installing phonon again -- has a much better chance of working this
 time :)
