 Use a terminal window and execute
 "/Applications/MacPorts/KDE4/Amarok.app/Contents/MacOS/Amarok" or whatever
 the actual name is.  I don't have Amarok.app installed right now to say
 exactly, but hopefully you get the idea.  When you execute in the
 terminal, it will print out all sorts of stuff.  Hopefully those messages
 will provide an obvious answer to your issue.
