 I have not reported it upstream yet; just found it last night :)  I agree
 that that the resulting binaries look fine, so it's not a critical
 problem.  I'm also not 100% convinced that my patches works, but it's the
 best I could come up with in short order.  Ideally, upstream would fix the
 issue on their side and the Portfile here would not put ${prefix}/include
 or ${prefix}/lib into any configure environment flags or arguments.
