Comment:

 As you say inkscape uses python-26 now and the necessary modifications to
 correctly configure paths
 etc for that were done in r70590.  Python extensions work for me in the
 current version.

 Will close on that basis.  If the problem continues for you please specify
 the scenario in which
 Inkscape fails (commands to use, etc).
