 I note that there is a Dbus port, so I tried building the latest HPLIP.
 There were a few minor problems but nothing too much -- three patches
 attached. You have to remember to activate Dbus, once for the Daemon and
 one Agent for each user. Then just fire up xsane under X11 and scan away.
