Comment:

 The only dependencies declared by the phpmyadmin port are

 {{{
 depends_run         port:php5-gd \
                     port:php5-mbstring \
                     port:php5-mcrypt \
                     port:php5-mysql \
                     port:php5-zip
 }}}

 which means if these extensions can be installed with php52, then
 phpmyadmin will automatically "be installed with php52". Please open
 tickets for the libs that do not behave as expected if that is the case.
