 Curiously, the attached output still doesn't show an error message. All I
 know is it's having trouble activating poppler for some reason. It works
 fine for me, so I suggest you uninstall poppler, clean it, selfupdate to
 make sure you have the latest MacPorts and port definitions, then try
 reinstalling it with the debug switch, and attach the complete output if
 it fails again.
