 Ping. Months ago I asked about the status of this submission on IRC and
 was told to wait until it bubbled up farther in the Port Submissions Trac
 report. Submissions that came well after this one have since come and gone
 on the queue. I'm willing to take complete responsibility for maintaining
 this port ... are there any other factors that would present a barrier
 from integrating it into the distribution?
