Argh. This appears to be the result of a bug I fixed upstream in
[http://code.google.com/p/autoconf-gl-macros/ autoconf-gl-macros], but
forgot to push back down to OpenVRML before the 0.18.4 release. I'll do
this and release 0.18.5.

I haven't tried it; but because xembed/player rely on GtkPlug/GtkSocket, I
don't expect them to work without X11.
