 custom fix could be the following:

 cd MPlayer* ; ./configure --with-extraincdir=<path-to-LIVE555-Streaming-
 Media-library-directory>
 }}}

 also i ran mplayer with the following


 {{{
 mplayer rtsp://127.0.0.1:rtps/sample_h264_1mbit.mp4
 }}}
