 Ah, yea, the wrapping is another matter.  I only searched the .dylib files
 with otool.  The Tcl, python, and java wrapping might include some display
 code.  I don't know how to search those objects for links to X11.

 There's now a new ticket on this issue, to isolate it from this ticket
 about the build problem (or re-build problem).
