 I also get this error with py26-wxpython. My python26 is i386 and
 wxWidgets is successfully installed. In fact, the source line here matches
 (src/mac/_gdi_wrap.cpp:15850) my error (
 http://trac.macports.org/ticket/19583 has line 15883 ).
