 I think I am running into the same (or similar) bug on my 13" MBP with
 Snow Leopard.  I just did a clean install of ports and my failure message
 is:
 smootmbp13:~ dsmoot$ sudo port clean --all cutecom-qt4-mac
 Password:

 smootmbp13:~ dsmoot$ sudo port install -d cutecom-qt4-mac

 Am I just missing your fix?  Do I need to run the latest version from svn?
 Or am I seeing a different bug?  Sorry to be a pain, I see you added a
 portfile 4 weeks ago but I have no idea how to even try this fix..
