That's why there is also a swi-prolog-lite portfile :-) The currently
committed version, however, is outdated. I will submit an updated portfile
for this port later today. I can send it to you by mail if you want.

I will take a look to the prolog-mode portfile (but I'm not its
maintainer).

The variants can still be defined but I'm not sure that's the best
