 You are right about that. I also failed to notice that the emacs-app port
 switched to use the GNU/emacs site rather than the emacs-app site. I now
 agree with your analysis that a NeXTStep variant of the emacs port is not
 needed.

 Thanks for doing something with the emacs port.
