 on one mac i have succed

 $ /opt/local/bin/rdiff-backup --version
 rdiff-backup 1.2.8
 }}}

 on the other with complete re-install off port
 [http://guide.macports.org/#installing.macports.uninstalling]
 it's impossible

 all two are on 10.6.2

 can i tar the /opt one one and untar on the other ?

 ps : i have tested with fink + unstable it's ok but i prefer port ;(
