Comment:

 Nevermind what I said before, jaxen was already installed (depending on an
 older xom which wasn't depending on jaxen) when I updated xom. It seems
 the new version is the one which introduces this circular dependency. I
 think there is no easy way out of this mess, as
 [http://bugs.gentoo.org/146593 Portage is trying to split xom into xom-
 core and xom-jaxen].
