 Numerous ports that built successfully for me a year ago (7/2009) fail
 with various errors 7/2010.  I wish to build texlive and xfig.  Here is
 the specific failure for xfig, encountered when attempting to build xorg-
 libXp.

 I'm running mac os 10.5.8 on a macbook pro, hardware version 5,5, using
 macports installed fresh 7/4/2010.

 $ sudo port install xorg-libXp

 --->  Computing dependencies for xorg-libXp
 --->  Configuring xorg-libXp
 Error: Target org.macports.configure returned: autoreconf failure: shell
 command failed
 Log for xorg-libXp is at:
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports
 .org_release_ports_x11_xorg-libXp/main.log
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
