 After recent installation on Snow Leopard:

     sudo port install python27[[BR]]

     python_select python27[[BR]]

     sudo port install py27-numpy[[BR]]


 (everything installed ok)[[BR]]

 and
     import numpy

 I get
     Fatal Python error: Interpreter not initialized (version mismatch?)
