 Barry you don't have libnetcdf.dylib.
 This is a problem of netcdf.
 Could you uninstall and reinstall netcdf again?
 If it still does not give you libnetcdf.dylib, let me take a look at
 config.log.
 The following commands take you to netcdf-4.1.1,
 where you will find config.log.
 {{{
 sudo port -d configure netcdf
 cd `port dir netcdf`
 open work/netcdf-4.1.1
 }}}
