 On a different note, doxygen also fails to build with more than one
 process, so maybe
 {{{
 use_parallel_build  no
 }}}
 should be used somewhere?  More specifically, it looks to me as if the
 {{{make pdf}}} target tries to use the doxygen executable itself, which
 doesn't exist yet at this moment.
