 I on the other hand happen to like Python. :P

 Looks like the actual error might be
 {{{
 Error: not found: appendix, changebar, footmisc, multirow, overpic,
 subfigure, titlesec
 }}}
 which would mean it's missing dependencies on some specific tex packages.
