 I wanted to install PHP5 CGI, without Apache. It compiled successfully,
 but then tripped on lack of Apache:

 {{{
 sudo port install php5 -apache2 +cgi
 …
 If this is your first install, you need to activate PHP in your web
 server.

 To enable PHP in Apache, run
 Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: can't read "moduledir": no
 such variable
 Log for php5 is at:
 /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_lang_php5/main.log
 Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
