 I'm guessing you did not clean before running with the -d flag, therefore
 we're now seeing a different error than you saw the first time. Please
 clean and try again:

 {{{
 sudo port clean pango
 sudo port -d install pango +universal
 }}}

 I also suspect this may be a duplicate of #22801. If you're not sure, show
 me the output of the above.
