#25106: port clean fails at rgm3800py
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
Reporter: thedoobs@… | Owner: macports-tickets@…
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: Normal | Milestone:
Component: ports | Version: 1.8.2
Keywords: | Port: rgm3800py
--------------------------------+-------------------------------------------
Changes (by ryandesign@…):
* cc: phw@…, jmr@… (added)
Comment:
This port has had a convoluted history:
* r68175: created as python/py27-rgm3800py
* r68182: copied to python/rgm3800py
* r68186: copied to comms/rgm3800py
* r68191: python/py27-rgm3800py and python/rgm3800py removed
The PortIndex still seems to think it's in the python category:
{{{
$ port info rgm3800py
Error: Unable to open port: couldn't change working directory to
"/Users/rschmidt/macports/dports/python/rgm3800py": no such file or
directory
}}}
Is this a bug in the new PortIndex updating code that only updates things
it thinks have changed? If so a full rebuild of the PortIndex would fix
this, but the same problem would presumably occur again in the future if
the same circumstances happen again.
