New description:

 Hello,

 I am new with max and I am trying to use macports to install applications
 in my MacOS X 10.6.3.

 I have installed MacPorts-1.8.2-10.6SnowLeopard and I've updated it, but
 when I try to install one application I get the following message:

 {{{
 ---> Computing dependencies for gimpError: Unable to execute port: can't
 read "build.cmd": Failed to locate 'make' in path:
 '/opt/local/bin:/opt/local/sbin:/bin:/sbin:/usr/bin:/usr/sbin' or at its
 MacPorts configuration time location, did you move it?
 }}}

 any idea about what my problem is? Any link I should read?

 thanks for your help
 Daniel
