 Hi again,

 after deinstalling most of octaves dependencies and reinstalling it "from
 scratch" with the gcc44 option it builts fine. I think there is a problem
 in the +g95 variant and for me special problems arose after i tried to
 install octave with gcc4(3|4) but dependencies like arpack and qrupdate
 where built with +g95. Just a guess, at least it is now working for me.
