 Hi,
 when trying to install py26-spyder, one of its dependencies, pylint, fails
 to be fetched.  I've downloaded the tar file from elsewhere, but have been
 unable to figure out how to install and activate this port manually.
 Installing via Terminal (i.e., python setup.py install) does not produce
 anything that is recognized my Macports.  I've spent several hours trying
 to find an answer to this, so I appreciate any help you can offer.
