 Goldendragon's configuration is set to run MacPortsUser as himself,
 instead of root.  This is likely the culprit, however it had worked fine
 in 1.8.2 and I believe 1.8.0 is when we added the dropping of privs. Weird
 combination or has the behavior changed?
