 Hi,

 `bash-completion` doesn't work on 10.4. I got the same (or similar, I
 don't remember) error message with an older version, but didn't bother
 reporting it. When it loads, it presents the following error message.
 Also, `bash` can't find anything in `/opt/local/bin/` anymore, but it
 doesn't have trouble with stuff in `/usr/bin/`.
