 Well, I did use your patch (and a patch for that
 [http://trac.macports.org/ticket/23349 aged Atlas bug] ...) and finally
 installed Deluge. Minor annoyances during the install which probably
 should get fixed for a final release are mentioned Atlas bug and the
 failure to install the boost +python25 dependency (this behaviour has been
 around for a while and makes manual install of boost mandatory). I get the
 same error message about classic mode. The GUI seems to work fine,
 '''but''' the daemon deluged responsible for the actual file transfer
 doesn't work. When manually starting it aborts with an error suggesting
 that no libtorrent library was found. The error log when trying to start
 deluged manually is attached.
