Comment:

 You must build a port's dependencies universal before installing that port
 universal. This is the case for all ports. In r64619 I added the archcheck
 portgroup to the gd2 port so the gd2 port should now warn you if you try
 to build it universal without having built its dependencies universal.
 Please let me know if you still see the "gdlib-config differs" error after
 selfupdating and trying again.
