 I don't want to say outright, "You're doing it wrong," as I'm sure there
 exist alternatives to the "normal way" to load and unload launchd
 plists.[[br]]
 Please try:[[br]]
 {{{sudo launchctl unload -w
 /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.macports.mpd.plist}}}[[br]]Let us know if that
 works for you.
