 I'm just here to corroborate that the following two steps allow Qt4 to
 compile just fine on OS X 10.6.2:

 First, if it's active, invoke:
 sudo port deactivate kdelibs4

 Then, open:
 /opt/local/etc/macports/macports.conf

 And change:

 "#buildmakejobs 0"
 to:
 "#buildmakejobs 1"

 That should do it! Remember to reactivate kdelibs4 once qt4-mac is done
 installing.
