Comment:

 Part of the patches have been included upstream.

 Besides, I do not think we should support adding fancy configure options
 on the command line such as --enable-darwin-64bit. This is a garbage
 option from upstream, erlang is properly built for 64bits on 10.6 and
 probably 10.5 as well with +universal. --enable-darwin-64bit has side
 effects that are not desirable, such as disabling hipe (our version of
 erlang has hipe on 64bits).
